The Hartman Prehistoric Garden recreates local dinosaur habitat. Spanning 1.5 acres in “Zilker Botanical Garden” in Austin, Texas, USA.

Hartman Prehistoric Garden, filled with luscious plants from the Cretaceous era, hand-built waterfalls, streams, a lagoon, explorer paths, and a miniature cave.

In 1992, paleontologists discovered dinosaurs once roamed the grounds of Botanical Garden. Immediately they began to study the best means of preserving the tracks. Plants were chosen for the garden that would have been there at the time of the dinosaurs.

The garden is free and open to the public most days year-round and is enjoyed by over 400,000 visitors each year, including thousands of school children from Austin and the surrounding communities.
